Pity the typical traditional Republican, be s/he a days-of-yore conservative or a closet moderate. What will they do come election day? Vote for Donald Trump, making him the undisputed head of a whacky new GOP no one recognizes, OR thwart that possibility by quietly voting for That Woman, at the cost of a leftward tilt on SCOTUS but gaining the only hope for redeeming a party run amuck?
