How will he be berned into political memory?
Deja vue all over again, with a twist - in early June 2016, Bernie Sanders finds himself in the same place Hillary did in early June 2008. He can make sure the Dems face a contested convention, he can celebrate his incredible victories & milk his new-found position to the benefit of the country, or - unlike HRC in '08 - he can decide on a 3rd party run. Only one of those options secures him a place at the big wigs table, the same one that is in the best interests of the country.
He is not going to pull a "Matt Santos," rallying the convention around his banner, giving him the candidacy. Should he be the candidate? On so many levels, the answer is YES. Is HRC a horrifically flawed choice? Shockingly so. But IF she wins California, he should make the wisest, politically savviest move.
Think of the concessions Hillary got when she bowed out in 06/08. Yeah, we never knew what they were, but we KNOW they were boozies.
